Cryptograms – Word Games for Brain Training is another literacy app / word game we’ve developed aimed at higher level readers. Like the cryptograms you might see in your daily newspaper – these puzzles take a quote or phrase and replace each letter with a different letter. You have to looks for word patterns and use spelling and context clues to slowly decipher the code by replace the letters one by one. The app launches using the standard interface you’d see in you newspaper – your solution is added in above the existing scrambled letters. But we’ve invented a new and improved interface where your solution is added directly into the scrambled text making the puzzles easier to see on phone screens! We think cryptograms are a great enrichment tool and cool way to push your top students to keep pursuing literary endeavors!
